Granite Countertops in Richmond

Granite is a natural stone that holds up to a busy Richmond kitchen. It resists heat and scratches, comes in bold colors and real movement, and usually needs periodic sealing to stay stain-resistant. If you want a hard-wearing surface with character, granite earns its place. We import much of ours directly, which is how premium granite stays fairly priced here.

Quartz Countertops in Richmond

Quartz is engineered stone, so the pattern is consistent and the surface is non-porous. That means no sealing and easy daily cleanup, which is why it is the most requested material for modern Richmond kitchens. We carry Cambria, Silestone, Caesarstone, and Vicostone, plus our exclusive Italian Quartz Collection you will not find at another Richmond fabricator. One tradeoff worth knowing: quartz can scorch, so keep a trivet handy.

Marble Countertops in Richmond

Marble brings the soft veining many Richmond homeowners want on an island or in a primary bath. It is a natural stone that etches and stains more readily than granite or quartz, so it rewards a little care. We will tell you honestly whether marble is the right fit for your project and where a marble-look quartz might serve you better.

Quartzite Countertops in Richmond

Quartzite is a natural stone known for dramatic, striking veining. Many varieties also perform well in active kitchens, making quartzite a strong fit for islands and other high-use surfaces. Because every slab varies, seeing the full slab helps you evaluate its color, pattern, and movement before you decide.

Soapstone Countertops in Richmond

Soapstone is a natural, non-porous material with a soft matte look that handles heat well and develops a deeper appearance over time. CGM carries a much smaller soapstone selection than its major material categories, so current availability should be confirmed during your consultation.

  • Classic Granite and Marble did a great job for us. They were fast, very communicative and the final product went in perfectly and looks great.  Absolutely no surprises. There was an issue fitting the new sink in under the granite but the technician figured out a way to work around it and all is in and working great. I will/would use them again if needed.

  • If I could give more than 5 stars I would! CGM was amazing to work with through the entire processes. Our designer Sarah was incredibly, I really like how she came to the house to see our layout, to measure, and get the vibe of what we were going for which made it easier when I went to pick out what I wanted. There was a lot of options to choose from, CGM has a massive stock which is really nice. The templator Patryk was very nice and quick when he came to do final measurements! The installers Luis and his team were super efficient and took about 2 hours to get the kitchen done. Talk about an A team to have!! Thank you so much CGM, we love our granite countertops so much!

  • Absolutely LOVED my experience with Classic Granite and Marble. My husband and I spoke with few different companies when looking for countertop for newly installed kitchen island. Andrew was very helpful in discussing affordable options. He was patient with my questions and reviewed the entire process. Our new granite countertop was installed within 3 weeks! The install team were professional and punctual. Our new granite looks SO great. Highly recommend this company for your next project.

  • CGM installed our kitchen counters and master bathroom vanity counters recently and we could not be more pleased. Joey, the "templater" (gotta love that title) proved his technical expertise with his exacting measurements. All the counters fit perfectly. On the day of installation I asked Ricardo and Victor many questions about the process; it was interesting watching them ply their trade. Their years of experience showed from their gentle handling of our quartz counter tops to the detailed assembly to the final cleaning and clean-up; no mess was left behind. (They worked so well together it wasn't surprising to find out that they are brothers). And Heather, our Project Manager was extremely helpful throughout the project; the glue that held it all together. My wife and I highly recommend CGM.

How It Works

1

Start with a consultation

Meet with the team in your home or at the Powhatan showroom to review your goals, approximate measurements, and project scope.

2

Choose your material and slab

Compare available materials, view full slabs when applicable, and review practical details such as sinks, faucets, edges, seams, overhangs, and appliance cutouts.

3

Complete digital templating

A CGM templater visits the project site to capture the final measurements and cutout requirements used to prepare the fabrication plan.

4

Fabricate and schedule installation
